I was unaware that slavery was still a big issue going on in the world. It's really sad. I couldn't believe that children are taken away from their families to work. Children shouldn't be forced to do work.
yeah they took good care of there slaves. getting one square meal a day and making them sleep in old wooden huts. yeah thats taking care of them in the old days

I can't believe they worked so hard, and noever got paid. When the boy said that he would not say nice words to us because we ate what he suffered for, it made me very sad. It made me think of how much I love chocolate, and how much the boys had to suffer to make the chocolate. I wish slavery didn't happen in the world. It's not fair to anyone.
Yeah this is all sad. But the true sad thing is that we will all most likely go on with our lives forgetting this movie and probably not do anything about it. Or try to help in some way.
I said I wouldn't eat chocolate after watching this the first time but I still do. I try to buy fair trade or organic chocolate but it is expensive. It is easy to forget what goes into the making of the chocolate.
If we know this is happening why dont we try and stop it. It wouldn't hurt to at least try to stop it because this is sad if i had the chance to stop slavery i would not hesitate i would jump at the oppertunity. - Austin Siegel
