Globalization has made the U.S. reliant on many other countries for products we rely on. Almost everything we have has some part discovered or manufactured in another country. For example the iPad was discovered in calafornia but is made in china. Globalization allows that idea and product to travel through the world.
Globalization has affected the American culture because it has made or lives easier and more enjoyable. With All of our foods and technology. I found many things that are made In the U.S. Such as subway amd jolly ranchers, I think our inventions have contributed to globalization because there are subways all over the world as long as with jolly ranchers. Apple was made in American but manufactured In china. we also looked up rap, I did not come from America, but Cambodia! But theAmerican flag came from America. By Evan and not Trayton
Globalization affects the American culture because most if the things we found were originated in America but made somewhere else in the US. For instants the symbol of our country, the American flag, originated in the United states but is made somewhere over seas. This affects the American culture because our symbol isn't even made in the country it represents.
when i looked at a car i found that it was made in china. they said that the first motor powered vehicle was made there so, like other things made there it has helped us in american culture because we have a huge amount of transpotation in america. Then i found the computer was made in germany. many us use a computer for finding facts and communication and creating documents. These things in everyday life that effect us our good exaples of the effect of globalization, by using them in everday life. ben vandenberg!
Cotton (Gossypium sp.) belongs to the Malvaceae family and is one of the most important and earliest domesticated plants in the world. It was domesticated independently both in the Old World and in the New World.http://archaeology.about.com/od/cterms/a/Cotton.htm Beer, beer as become a big part in the American culture. However the first alcoholic beverage was believed to be made in Iran over 7000 years ago. Oil, oli was first discovered in the united states, although ancient civilizations found that vegetable oil was easily flammable, the USA gets credit for the discovery of oil when a man form Pennsylvania collected some that was bubbling out of the ground. Coffee was originated in ethiopia where they first used the beans to flavor there water. 64 - Emperor Nero Claudius Caesar's (54-68) cook, Gaius, is often credited with discovering the first sausage. It was the custom of the time to starve the pigs one week before cooking and eating them. According to legend, one pig was brought out well roasted, but it was noticed that somehow it had not been cleaned. Cook Gaius ran a knife into its belly to see if the pig was fit to eat. To his surprise, out popped the intestines and they were all puffed up and hollow. It was reported that he said, "I have discovered something of great importance." Gaius stuffed the intestines with ground venison and ground beef mixed with cooked ground wheat and spices. He ties them into sections and the wiener was born Cory Call
Globalization has effected americans culture greatly because it has made our life's a lot easier.I didn't find many things that were made in America, the only thing I found out of my five that was made in America was bass fishing. I think our inventions have greatly helped us because there's a lot of people bass fish around the world. Kameron Micke
Halloween originated in the Roman culture and it was a place for supernatural events to take place, It's affected it because today Halloween is a huge thing for kids because they get free candy. But back then you went door to door asking for food and prayer
Globalization has such a big impact on the U.S, that we barely even make any products of our own. Most come from Asia or Egypt or some place far away, like perfume(Mesopotamia) and foam(Germany). Foam is used In some types of beds, and packing peanuts, kick boards and other floaties also used in the U.S. Unless if there was some magical luck streak that let the United States find all this stuff in their own country, then with out globalization, we wouldnt have half the stuff we have today in the condition they are in. Katie E
Globalization has affected American culture so much that we adopt others ideas to use one of these are patents we use many adopted methods in daily life.
Globalization has affected America because we eat hamburgers and they actually came from Europe. We also watch football a lot and that originally came from Britain. So the things that we enjoy actually came from other places. If we didn't have globalization we wouldn't have these things.
we thought apple trees originated in usa but it really was western asia. maple syrup was actually originated in north america. Wea also found that christmas was originally celebrsted in europe we are not sure where though. Football was originally created in north americaa. lastly mcdonalds was created in california.
Cheese cake although thought originated from new York was actually originated in Greece nearly four thousand years ago! Also maple syrup used in America for breakfast delights was actually created by the French but the natives actually finished it's creation to make the syrup itself. Socks used throughout the world was made in the British isles. Oatmeal another fantastic breakfast meal was indeed created in Scotland. Paper used by many countries throughout the world including ours the U.S.A. Was made in china nearly two thousand years ago.
Globalization has affected American culture through out the past. For example, things like "planking" originated in Australia but because of globalization many people in America now also plank. Another example is a popular food, pizza. This was originated in Italy but was brought here. And paper, which most of us use every single day... Originated in eygpt. However, some things also originated here in America, such as iPads and McDonalds.
Globalization has affected the United States in the fact that very few of things are 100% genuinely American. 4 of our 5 things are American made... The mechanical reaper, airplanes, the colt revolver, and electricity. America is very good at creating new things as well as copying other ideas and making it our own.
Globalization has affected the American culture in many significant ways. To start, we depend on a lot of goods produced outside of the U.S. and without globalization, we wouldn't have any of them. Second, 4 of our 5 examples of things produced in America, happened to not be originated in the U.S. Our American culture has taken credit for other countries goods and made them our own. Things like pine trees (Venice, Italy), milk (Central Europe), cosmetics (Beijing, China), and automobiles (France). The only thing we found produced in America was electricity. In conclusion, our American culture is strongly effected by globalization.
Globalization has made American culture what it is today. Most things people use on a daily basis such as make-up, originated in ancient Egypt and gum originated in ancient Greece. Many people also have braces which originated from the ancient Greek. Many things that we use on a daily basis come from other cultures, so without globalization americans wouldnt be or have what we do today. --Rachel&Emily--
For our example we picked the American flag which was first made in America, and the first one was made by Betsy Ross(in America). This has a lot to with globalization because the American flag is being made in china, china is the lead in the world of exporting the flag. 70 years ago it wouldn't be common that the American flag was made in china. With out globalization most likely there wouldn't be china making the American flag like we do now. Globalization is Changing the way the world works. A.A I.C
Airplanes are one of the biggest transportation uses in the world. The first airplane ever made was in America by the wright brothers in 1904. Without airplanes many areas around the world would not be reachable and globalization would not of occurred.
Globalization affectes American culture. Cows were bred in America for the first time, but the animals used to breed cows are from African, European and Indian cattle. Without globalization we would not have cows as a cattle and not be able to have milk as an export. French fries were first made in beligium but were called chips, Americans changed the name to French fries and are the first to call them that. This shows how americans also change language that originated from other countries. Pepsi originated in North Carolina we were right that they originated here and because of globalization it branched out throughtout the world. Smoothies were first made in west coast of the U.S., but the recipe was from Brazil. Cheeseburgers were made here in the U.S. Without globalization we wouldn't have the things we do today. Alexis and Bianca
Football came from China. But globalization brought it to america. American cheese is a big shocker because even to though it is American Cheese it comes from Europe! Nail Polish comes from china also. Pumpkins and iPads came from the US but they are very well known around the world. Lexie and Taylor
Alex your paragraph is half descent but you could have showednmre effort lazy.... Ahahah just kidding it was good I like itnit was descriptive and knowledgable
Globalization has affected the American culture because many of the things we believe to be American are actually inspired from other countries. For example, ice cream actually originated in China. Also childhood games such as "Ring aroun the Rosie" were created in foreign countries. This game specifically originated in London. So as you can see our American culture greatly benefits from globalization as it gives us inspiration from other cultures around the world. - Hanna and Abby Joesph<3 BIG
Airplanes came from America and has a big role in globalization. It allows us to travel place to place in a fraction of the time other ways of transportation takes. This allows us to communicate with people better b/c we can do it face to face. We can also travel to other place and learn about the place and different cultures there.
Cheese is one thing that we found that didn't originate in America, it originated in central Asia. Without globalization there is a chance that we wouldn't be known as the cheese state, and that could effect our economy. Football is another thing that most people see as American. But originally, it came from Britain as a form of rugby. Like football many people think basketball was originated in America but really it originated in canada. Gum was actually originated from 3 different places, one, from the ancient Greeks, another from the ancient mayans, and another from the ancient American Indians. Each culture got it from different type of tree sap, but they were all considered origins of gum.
Globalization affects American culture because many of the things you may think were originated in America were actually originated in other countries. For example hamburgers were actually originated in Moscow and ice cream was originated in both England and America. So we get many of the things we use everyday from other countries that you might not expect. So globalization is a very important part of American culture.
All of the things that we thought were originated from America were not really directly from America. Things like the hamburger, which is an all American thing! Well it was originally made in Europe. Other things like the football and television were also not created in America! So as you see, globalization has affected ameica in huge way. Basically everything we have wasn't really from america. Even things that are all American things were not originally created in america. I$aac and Tyler;)
More things than we think are not from the USA. Such as the telephone which originated in europe but today is used world wide. Also the light bulb is from england and you can find that pretty much in every house that is because of globalization. The game of basketball was created in America but the guy who came up with the idea is from Canada, which shows globalization. And lastly the iPad idea came from our good pal all American Steve jobs!!! Buttttttt it is most likely manufactured in foreign countries such as china. Without globalization USA wouldn't be the way it is today. Alyssa and Jaelynn!!
Globalization has made it easier to connect with anyone in the world with all the technology that we have today and with all the food that came from America.
Globalization has affected American Culture because now we have alot more activities and food and other many usefull things. The things that we researched about like baseball and football were started in america and now we have brought these activities to many other places. Ali.
Globalization has affected American culture because many of our matterial possessions come from different countries. For example underarmour was started in Asia somewhere and thanks to globalization we have the opportunity to buy underarmour stuff
Derek and Austin It has given Americans and people all over the world an opportunity to communicate with each other although they are nowhere near each other. If there was no globalization sure there would be things like apple and microsoft but since there is, it enables us to have many things that originated in different partsmof the world such as, foods, goods, and some electronics.
