  18. Off of what Taylor said I dont think that outsourcing jobs is okay. Its not okay because Americans need jobs too and if American are doing the jobs correctly why doesnt the company try to support people in its own country instead of paying another country less money?

    ReplyDelete
  19. I don't think they really care about how nasty it is,

    - Taylor

    ReplyDelete
  20. I totally agree with Taylor. We all complain about not having enough jobs and then the jobs that could possibly turn out to help the country, ends up getting outsourced to a dif country...

    ~Katie

  25. True,I wouldn't leave my wife and kids, and my lifestyle, just for a job. Is his job really that important to him? For me it's not worth it to just leave and get my job back. I'd just get a new one if I was this guy

    ReplyDelete
  38. How much money is he making?

    ReplyDelete
  39. Rachel Van Handel
Off of what ben said I think that his job is really important to him since he got paid well and he was able to support his family off of his job. It is really hard to find a good paying job too. He isnt really living in India either so he didnt move, he is just seeing why they get all the jobs there i think.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Leah-
That is crazy that in India call center jobs are high up on the charts and in the U.S it is completley opposite

    ReplyDelete
  41. ya i wondering that myself why is it so easy to get a job in india?

    ReplyDelete
  42. he must have aced that test

  44. He's setting a good example for America because he knows what he's doing, and he's respectful about it.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Breanna McFaul~
I thought it was strange that it is normal there to live with your parents. I would not like that at all.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Why would they have to try and talk "Like an american?" Just so people can understand them or because they don't want people from America to find out their calling India?

    ~Katie

    ReplyDelete
  47. Michael Elrick

do they know that he is only staying for 30 days

    ReplyDelete
  48. Rachel
How can he posiblly want a job that bad? That he would go to India? drive 2 hours? Night shifts? I understand its not a real job like forever but how can he do it?

    ReplyDelete
  49. @Michael
    Probably...
It could be one of those temporary job things...

    ~Katie

    ReplyDelete
  50. Bre McFaul~
I probably wouldn't mind doing that job for 30 days if I got $1,200/month.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Don't we see that by outsourcing we're pretty much just hurting ourselves?
    -Taylor

    ReplyDelete
  52. these indian people are very arragant

    sam

    ReplyDelete
  53. i wonder how easy it is to get a job here

    ReplyDelete
  54. India seems so clueless...

    ~Katie

    ReplyDelete
  55. Rachel
Katie I think that they have to speak fluent english because americans are the people that call them and could you imagine getting on the phone and having someone speak jibberish???

    ReplyDelete
  56. he is making 50k's a year
    aaron

    ReplyDelete
  57. You can tell he's bitter about the fact that everyone is getting jobs that were outsourced

    -Taylor

    ReplyDelete
  58. -Leah

@Bre Just think though, hes getting paid 1200 a month when he is only staying for a month. What profit is he getting from traveling there? Not much when you think about it, he had to buy a plane ticket overseas which isn't cheap.

    ReplyDelete
  59. michael elrick

    sam how are they arragant

    ReplyDelete
  60. I think he was lucky to experience their culture in their homes and be apart of it. A lot of people dont get that chance in life.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Rachel
Bre $1,200 isnt alot of money per month! Imagine what you all get in a month!!! That would not cover it and plus all your bills. I wouldnt work for that

    ReplyDelete
  62. sam

they say there better workers and smarter than us

    ReplyDelete
  63. Breanna~
Sorry i forgot to put my name on the last one but mine was the one about how he experienced their culture.

Ok ya i guess it wouldnt be a lot for him with his family and everything. Sorry guess i wasnt thinking of all that. Wow my bad.

    ReplyDelete
  71. What if there family breaks apart do to outsourcing? Alex

    ReplyDelete
  72. Rachel
It seems like their are so many job options that they arnt even filling up, while if they were to have this job in America it would probally be full because of the people who need jobs.

    ReplyDelete
  73. -Leah
If I was married to that guy I would be so annoyed. He's so selfish!

    ReplyDelete
  74. That guy is a jerk! I'd leave him in a second.

    ReplyDelete
  75. That dude has some problems.
    Tony

    ReplyDelete
  76. settle down its a cup of tea

    sam

    ReplyDelete
  77. Okay so, the outsourcing thing is a good thing for them but we're basically giving away what we need most. We're causing our own struggle.

    ReplyDelete
  80. I think its kind of wierd how modern india became with all there new buildings and jobs. but the wift still isnt supposed to get a job, shes only supposed to stay at home.
    -Cory

That's India's culture. They are supposed to be like that.
    -Zach

    ReplyDelete
  83. Rachel
If they have jobs how can they have such a wrecky house? Is it because of the low pay? because that can be a downside of outsourcing because they are still living in poverty!

    ReplyDelete
  84. Seeing the way people live in India, his perspective is totally changed

    ReplyDelete
  85. wow i cant bielve that the indian culture can be minipulated by america and i cant bielve the american jobs minipulate them and there culture.
    Matt

  86. why do they riot over a death? He wouldnt want that.

    sam

    ReplyDelete
  87. Like he said i couldnt stand living there for 30 days in that garbage and mess and seeing children on the streets just to try to see if i could get my job back even if theres a good chance you probably wont.

I think it is actully kinda good he went to India to see how you can have a job but with the same job that he would have in America and people are still not able to support their families. He learned a lot in India.

    ReplyDelete
  90. thats aweful and blom they make a few a few bucks a hour
    Matt

    ReplyDelete
  91. I wonder if outsourcing is helping them at all... they are destroying themselves in a way too...
    Shane Christman

    ReplyDelete
  92. India is a frail country why would they move american jobs there if they have to repair buildings
    Jacob Johnson

    ReplyDelete
  93. Alexis
I find it interesting that jobs are being outplaced to India, why aren't they going to like China?

    ReplyDelete
  94. Jared Wierschke

Outsourcing is just stupid I think. Its cheaper labor doesnt mean better. It still might be awful quality.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Jared Wierschke

Are the cows the garbage pickup.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Alex Pott
I think that outsoucring is bad for the U.S because our economy is not that good and if we keep sending our jobs to countries like India. We will become a weaker and possibly not a superpower in the world.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Yes, basically gary

    ReplyDelete
  98. its amazing how many american corperations are in India
    colin tess

    ReplyDelete
  99. Alexis
About Jared's post even though their work might not be better the companies don't care they only care about making a profit, and they can do this by getting people that will work for cheaper.

    ReplyDelete
  100. if all the people have jobs in India how come it looks so bad there and they can't afford to pick up trash?
    Avreal

    ReplyDelete
  101. sydnie
i think its weird that even though everything in india is new and improved, the streets and living areas are so dusty and dirty.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Jared Wierschke

I agree with Alex that we might fall as a superpower if we keep doing this.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Rich get richer, poor get poorer...
    -Spencer

    ReplyDelete
  104. Alexis
I think companies should just keep jobs in the United States in the United States because our economy needs the jobs and we will have better quality of workers then in India.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Ryan Swaw,
It's kindof weird that theres a giant shiny building and across the street theres crumbling dirty buildings

    ReplyDelete
  106. so far it looks as if this situation might force Americans to move to other countries just in search of employment. Like the man said, India is leaking available jobs and Americans are desperate to keep their jobs.
    SYDNIE

    ReplyDelete
  107. I agree with Alexis. COmpanies should keep the jobs in the united states because so many are un need of jobs but there is no jobs available plus more and more people are getting fired.

    ReplyDelete
  108. i agree with sydnie that people might start to move to other countries just to find jobs
    Avreal

    ReplyDelete
  109. why does he have to take an english class when he probly has the best english there

    ReplyDelete
  110. Alexis
About Sydnie's post I agree but if most american's move to other countries for job's then other countries will becom over crowded and if americans go to other countries for jobs doesn't that say that we would be willing to work for less and that they don't have to go to other countries to find cheap workers?

    ReplyDelete
  111. Lets train people to act like americans... thats cool
    -spencer

    ReplyDelete
  112. Ryan Swaw,
lots of bad roads and bad markets and why were people diging a hole.

    ReplyDelete
  113. there is a wide variety of jobs in India. Anything from technology to digging holes.
    sydnie

    ReplyDelete
  114. i agree with HERMY

    -tess

    ReplyDelete
  115. Hes stupid, he doesnt know how to hang up a phone

    ReplyDelete
  116. To alexis.
good point! but even the smallest wage is more than no wage at all. it might be some Americans last resort.
    sydnie

    ReplyDelete
  117. i agree with Sydnie. If we have to move families to countries like this, its not a good enviroment for young kids to be in.

    Bianca

    ReplyDelete
  118. Alexis
Yeah, I agree with Sydnie I'm sure almost all americans would rather have a job than not have on at all and I'm almost positive they would being willing to get paid less if they could stay in america instead of going to another country for their job and still get paid less.

    ReplyDelete
  119. I legitamentley think that sooner rather than later the world is becoming over populated
    -call me HERMY

    ReplyDelete
  120. I dont get why there area is terning in to america why dont they just keep there culter?

    taylor

    ReplyDelete
  121. Alexis
I agree with Hermy the world is coming over populated!

    ReplyDelete
  122. India is completely changing to America dispite the poverty

    -TESS

    ReplyDelete
  123. Why do they have to have american accents? What's wrong with having their own?

    ReplyDelete
  124. they dont nessisarily have a choice about changing their culture. its to survive.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Ryan Swaw,
he's kindof acting like a jerk to her

    ReplyDelete
  126. i think this whole experience is opening his eyes to this whole situation of him losing his job.
    I.C

    ReplyDelete
  127. Rachel
    Hes rude.
She didnt get him a cup a tea? then she will pail hte test? K....

    ReplyDelete
  128. Fail her*** sorry
    Rachel

    ReplyDelete
  129. we are getting more choices as to what we eat and were we eat.it can be seen as a good thing and bad,the food is getting worse for you but its cheep and fast and are over sized

    jason L

    ReplyDelete
  130. I think that the company should not have moved it to india just because its cheaper people in americas are smarter

    Hunter Hartjes

    ReplyDelete
  131. I feel bad for him because he had always been working there and he might do the job better but indians will do it for cheaper
    ALYSSA

    ReplyDelete
  132. i think that outsourcing should be stopped...its not fair to americans to loose their jobs just because poeple across the world will do it for cheaper. there must be other jobs those people can find besides american jobs
    lexie

    ReplyDelete
  133. why would he have to go to inda and leave his family?

    anna hietpas

    ReplyDelete
  134. india is changing alot because of americas influance

    jason L.

    ReplyDelete
  135. I feel bad and think that he shouldnt have to leave his family because Indians can do the same job he might be able to do better for cheaper. But I think its good that hes going to see what is happening to his job in India!

    Alexa

    ReplyDelete
  136. I dont get why we out source jobs in this kind of economy. We need all the jobs we can get, so why out source? Indians can do it cheaper, but is it worth it for all the Americans that get there jobs out sourced?

    ReplyDelete
  137. I wonder if the people of India realize that they are taking the high paying jobs of Americans, do they realize that they are doing it for cheaper or is their wage typical to the average Indian worker
    Derek Vandermoss

    ReplyDelete
  138. How do the people in India afford stuff then if thier paid so little? Are things in India really cheap?
    Jaelynn

    ReplyDelete
  139. I know that we out source because people over seas work cheaper, is it worth it though? Do these companies even consider what will happen to all the Americans who lose their jobs? We have a struggling economy and this isn't helping it at all.

    ReplyDelete
  140. Jay.
most likley. things are probably really cheap
    abby Jo

    ReplyDelete
  141. i think that americans should stop losing their jobs just becasue people in inda would do it for a cheeper price then what amercians are getting now today..

    anna hietpas

    ReplyDelete
  142. I don't think he should go to India and leave his family just to see if he can get that job. It's not even for sure if he's going to get this job that he's going through so much trouble for.
    Kailey

    ReplyDelete
  143. I cant believe they can just give away jobs that easily!

    Alexa

    ReplyDelete
  144. So there's a bunch of American resturants that only American eats at

    ReplyDelete
  145. I dont think it is worth it to out source all of the companies. we need to keep jobs in america even if it is more expensive then having the jobs over seas.
    abby jo

    ReplyDelete
  146. I fell bad for him in America he gets fired and it's so hard to get a job but here in india they can make that guarentee come in with a resume and leave with a job.
    Alyssa

    ReplyDelete
  147. I wish it was that easy to get a job in america
    Jaelynn

    ReplyDelete
  148. do you find it kind of funny/wierd that they have so many jobs that you can walk in and walk right back out with a decent job especially one paying 50k a month plus incentitves???

    Austin Frank

    ReplyDelete
  149. Going back to what Derek said, I think it would be frustrating to find out that I am working for less if I were from India. Even if that is the average wage, I don't think I would want to settle for it.

    ReplyDelete
  150. I think that it is super funny. In America we probably cant even do tht. that is really sad.
    aabby jooo

    ReplyDelete
  151. to what austin said i think that is weird that you can just walk in and out with a job that pays well

    ReplyDelete
  152. is things in inda that cheep and how do they pay for thier house & food for the family ?

    anna hietpas

    ReplyDelete
  153. If the U.S was able to have as many jobs open as india does, alot less people would be in debt and all together the U.S would be better all around. We need to find out how india does it.
    -Tyler Merckx:)

    ReplyDelete
  154. wow im shocked that he didn't understand how americans were losing jobs.
    Harry F.

    ReplyDelete
  155. The problem with keeping the American work force for companies owned by foreign companies is that American workers demand more pay and shorter work hours than a local worker would. That is WHY they keep on outsourcing, to answer that recurring question.

    Chris H.

    ReplyDelete
  156. People shouldn't have to lose their job because it is cheaper to get foreign people to do it. The city that the jobs went to is alittle gross...there is garbage and cows in the street, also a hornet's nest in the bathroom, and there is rats in the house.
    Taylor

    ReplyDelete
  157. I dont think that just because it's cheaper doesn't mean it's right for people to take away American's jobs. But I understand why the company's would do this because if you can make more money and pay your workers less then you will be more successful.I don't believe it's the right thing to do though.
    OLIVIA

    ReplyDelete
  158. I think it's funny how we look down on the telemarketers in America but in India its an inspiring job to have.
    Alyssa

    ReplyDelete
  159. Why do you think he had such a hard time figuring out the call center on the first night

    ReplyDelete
  160. It's the RIGHT thing to do, but not the GOOD thing to do...not for business anyway.

    Chris H.

    ReplyDelete
  161. It's amazing how the streets can be so americanized but inside the house it's like a whole different country
    ISAAC MELANSON!:D

    ReplyDelete
  162. Why do you think that the cities and the homes are so differnent?

    ReplyDelete
  163. why would americans can just lose thier job and for americans it takes a while to get a new one but idans can just get a job faster than americans ?

    anna hietpas

    ReplyDelete
  164. agreed with alyssa because when ever a telemarketer calls i hang up on them.

    ReplyDelete
  165. I think when companys lay off their workers so they can move to a different country because the pay is cheaper, the companys should have to get you another job or something. Its not ok for people to just get layed off.

India and America are really different, and most of the people in India dont know about what happens with jobs in America.

    Megan Krajewski

    ReplyDelete
  166. I think the cities and homes are so different because the industries have taken over the outside world but at home you can still have your culture and what not
    Alyssa

    ReplyDelete
  167. Its amazing how many jobs that used to be in america, are now in india.

  169. This guy is pretty lucky he gets a high payed job just like that most poeple gotta search for low wage job. But i do feel sorta bad that he's gotta stay away from his family just so he can provide for them later in the future.

    E2

    ReplyDelete
  170. in india its different because not many people move to one city for work more so a different state instead
    Ross Wegner

    ReplyDelete
  171. i think its weird that they are becoming very americanized and building big fancy buildings, but yet the streets are covered in piles of trash and dirt
    lexie

    ReplyDelete
  172. That guy is kind of a jerk because he doesnt want his wife working because she is supposed to be keeping up the house
    Derek Vandermoss

    ReplyDelete
  173. This is happening (big industrial buildings and oppositely primitive surroundings) because foreign companies who'd USED to hire in America are now hiring in India instead.

    Chris H.

    ReplyDelete
  174. It seems like the husband doesn't care about his wife that much but then his wife works her butt of for his family and he barley appreciates it. It's kind of the opposite of how it is in America.
    Olivia

    ReplyDelete
  175. the mall is huge its like its over americanized because we don't have malls that big we only have a lot of small malls why do you think they need a mall this big??? do you think its because they are putting every store in america and india all in one mall???

    Austin Frank
