  1. One of the ways that I could reduce my water footprint is that I could take shorter showers and to have my mom do less laundry during the week. Another way that I could reduce my water footprint is to eat less meats because they consume alot of water to be produced.

  9. Something I could do to reduce my water use is to eat less meet because that is one of my biggest uses for water. Like I eat more beef than average and I think that that really adds to all the water I use. So of I can reduce my eating of meet I think. My water will drop rapidly. Same goes for chicken.

  10. After my survey, I had realized I used a little over the American average. If I wanted to reduce my water use, I would reduce my wash I do. My family does lots of wash and not only would it save me a lot of water I could probably appreciate my clothing. From Ben Vandenberg

  11. Katie Emerich: I am a little below the average American with my water footprint, but to bring it even lower, I could reduce my shower and the amount of gallons we fill in our car. We don't travel far, so a full tank of gas can last us about a week and a half. We could make it last longer if we walked to some places nearby instead of driving all the time.

I can reduce my footprint by taking shorter showers, and doing less loads of dishes and laundry. I can do less loads by filling the dishwasher with more dishes at a time.

  26. Even though I was below average in most categories I can still reduce my water footprint by taking shorter showers. Also I saw that producing meats uses a lot of water so I could also consume less meat.

  33. My water footprint was about average. To make it lower, I could take shorter showers and eat less meat because meat takes a lot of water to be processed and by taking shorter showers it will make my footprint go down also.
